Synopsis for Crash Landing on You
Successful South Korean businesswoman Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin) is also a chaebol heiress. She was blown off course one day while paragliding in Seoul by a tornado. She consequently makes a crash landing in the DMZ’s North Korean sector. Captain in the Korean People’s Army and a member of the North Korean elite is Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin). He encounters Se-ri while on patrol and saves her. He hides her from other North Koreans after deciding to assist her in returning to the South, especially Cho Cheol-gang (Oh Man-seok), who is out to get him. They grow closer as they spend time together.

Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin), a South Korean chaebol heiress to Queen’s Group, and Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin), a member of the North Korean elite and a captain in the Korean People’s Army, are the subjects of the story of Crash Landing on You.
Yoon Se-ri is paragliding in Seoul, South Korea one day when she is suddenly knocked unconscious and blown off course by a tornado. Similarly, When she wakes up, she discovers that her paraglider has collided with a tree in a forest in the DMZ’s North Korean sector— Also, an area that South Koreans are not permitted to enter. She later encounters Ri Jeong-hyeok, who gives her sanctuary and devises a plan to assist her covertly return to South Korea.
